National Philanthropy Day Awards

National Philanthropy Day: Change the World with a Giving Heart

It is that time of year when our AFP Chapter takes time to recognize and honor individuals and organizations who make our work in philanthropy enjoyable and, more importantly, allow our organizations to thrive and strive toward our mission.

Please take 30 minutes to nominate a person or business for an Association of Fundraising Professionals' National Philanthropy Day Award.  In the big picture, it takes very little time but makes a life-long impact on the recipients.  Please submit your nomination(s) via email to no later than Friday August, 14, 2015 by 4:30 PM (CST).  Late submissions will not be accepted.

You can nominate candidates in the following categories:

  • Outstanding Lifetime Philanthropy Award
  • Outstanding Philanthropist Award
  • Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer Award
  • Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation Award
  • Youth Philanthropy Award
  • Outstanding Fundraising Professional Award

Please contact Shane Kohl ( or Trina Doxtator ( with any questions about nominations.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.
