JOB TITLE: Annual Fund Specialist

REPORTS TO: Vice President Philanthropy & Donor Stewardship

STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

The EAA Annual Fund Specialist is responsible for implementing the organization’s annual fund raising programs. The Annual Fund Specialists holds key responsibility for budget tracking, achieving objectives within the boundaries of the financial plan, and monthly reporting. In addition, she/he will integrate the research and stewardship aspects related to moves management, building a progressive level of engagement and participation within the donor base, taking into account all aspects of fulfillment and stewardship.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Establish annual goals and development plans to achieve fundraising targets
2. Employs the following fund raising strategies:a) Direct mailb) Web actuated donationsc) Eventsd) Online Fundraising (i.e. Auctions)
3. Be the team CRM specialist and enter donor gifts and pledges into system
4. Identify entry level donors ready to increase their engagement in annual and planned giving
5. Effectively maintain donor records and work with IT and/or Finance to make improvements where needed
6. Steward donors and volunteers to higher levels of organizational commitment and giving
7. Embrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environment
8. All other duties as assigned, including AirVenture specific responsibilities, such as A-Team managementMINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s Degree Required
2. 2-3 years of experience in fund development
3. Advanced written and oral communication skills
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office

1. Non-profit experience
2. Experience with CRMs
